Malta National Qualifiers for the World Esports Championship Riyadh 2024!

The Malta Esports Association, in partnership with its members, is proud to announce the Malta National Qualifiers for the World Esports Championship Riyadh 2024!

The Malta Esports Association has established the National Esports Team, which has competed in the World Esports Championship organised by the International Esports Federation (IESF) since 2020. The National Team has represented Malta in the World Esports Championships held in Eilat, Israel in 2021, in Bali, Indonesia in 2022, and in Iasi, Romania in 2023.

The World Esports Championship 2024 is the 16th iteration of the World Esports Championship, and it will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia between the 11th and the 19th of November 2024. The competition will feature 5 game titles, including two female-exclusive tournaments (for a total of 7 tournaments), and a prizepool of $1 million.

And YOU can participate!

The Malta National Team will be competing in two game titles:

  • eFootball
  • Counter-Strike 2

For both of these titles, a National Qualifier will be organised by the Malta Esports Association together with its members, for the chance to represent Malta in front of the world stage!
