Malta Esports Association approved as a Full Member of the European Esports Federation

On the 29th October 2022, the Malta Esports Association attended the third Ordinary General Meeting of the European Esports Federation as an Associate Member. The Malta Esports Association was represented by its President, Michele Magro.

Becoming a Full Member of the European Esports Federation is a crucial step for the Malta Esports Association to become a greater contributor in the European, and international ecosystem.

The European Esports Federation is the confederation representing the national esports federations and associations within the European region, and acts as the recognised confederation with the International Esports Federation. The national federations from 44 countries are members of the European Esports Federation.

The Malta Esports Association applied for Full Membership with the European Esports Federation, and following a presentation of the work performed by the Malta Esports Association so far, the Ordinary General Meeting voted unanimously to approve Malta’s application for Full Membership.

The Malta Esports Association endeavours to become an even more active member of the European Esports Federation, and to participate in the European Championships organised by them.
