Michele Magro is the President of the Malta Esports Association, and sits on the Executive Committee as a representative of Project Eversio Esports Club, a non-profit esports team based in Malta that has been in operation since 2007. Michele has been involved in esports, first as a competitor, and thereafter as an esports news writer for local and international websites, local tournament organiser and team owner. As President, Michele’s general role within the Association is to provide strategic direction and to ensure the organisation meets its objectives.
Michele is a lawyer by profession, and has spent a decade working in the public sector, specifically within the legal, regulatory and international affairs divisions of the Malta Gaming Authority and the Malta Financial Services Authority. Recently, Michele switched to the private sector, and provides legal and compliance services in the gambling and esports sectors.
