Role: National Team Manager
Position: Voluntary
Job Description:
- Propose to the Executive Committee the tournaments in which the Maltese National team should participate in;
- Take care of the selection process for the Maltese National Team;
- Where the selection process involves an online/offline qualification tournament, make the necessary arrangements to organise such tournaments with any partner entities;
- Assist all national team players in their needs in order to participate in tournaments as the national team manager;
- Undertake any necessary application forms, administrative requirements and other documentation required to be collected and submitted to any tournament organiser in which the national team shall participate;
- Liaise with the tournament organiser in which the maltese national team is participating in;
- Liaise with any other entity with which MESA has an agreement to jointly run the national team, such as MFA for FIFA & PES, and the MMF for Sim Racing;
- Liaise with the person responsible for Public Relations and Social Media within MESA to ensure that there is public coverage of the national team’s activities;
- Liaise with the the relevant person within MESA to undertake any necessary media sessions for the national team; and
- Ensure that national team players have official uniforms to wear for their live tournaments.
Role: Administrator

Job Description:
- Carry out clerical duties, including answering calls and emails and preparing documents;
- Manage data in spreadsheets and reports;
- Taking minutes during meetings;
- Organize and schedule meetings and events;
- Keep records and reports up to date.
Skills and Qualification:
- A-level (MQF Level 4) standard education;
- Planning skills and knowledge of associated computer software;
- Excellent communication and writing skills;
- Time management and prioritization.
Role: Content Writer
Position: Paid Placement Opportunity*
Job Description:
- The Malta Esports Association is looking for a content writer to create esports content relating to the national esports scene, as well as report on events and news by the association. The ideal candidate would be someone who is passionate about esports, highly motivated and keeps up-to-date with everything that is happening.
- Coming up with original written content, and posting it on the MESA website and/or social media;
- Be available to cover ongoing stories on demand, and sticking to a schedule;
- Liaising with our team;
Skills and Qualification:
- A-level (MQF Level 4) standard education;
- Able to write in English at a high level with great use of grammar;
- Basic knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) would be considered a plus;
- Basic knowledge of WordPress would be considered a plus;
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop would be considered a plus.
